Last night I worked late and then went straight to rehearsal. I didn't end up getting home until 8:30.
I don't regret the long day and late night. I got a lot of necessary things accomplished.
And my return home was greeted by my husband, slaving over a roast in the oven. My evening last night had a roaring fire in the fireplace, a glass of a big bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, roast beef with broccoli and roast potatoes.
Talk about perfection :). It was exactly what I needed after a long and busy day. I am truly spoiled...and I love it :)
Now, in this spoiled brat's defense, Ian did have the day off :)
With Love

My great aunt Feef was a wonderful, happy and slightly eccentric woman. We called her Feef, others Freda, and others had other names for her, as she was loved by many under many names, but her real name was Dorothy. I recall that she had old calendars where every box for everyday was full...she would write something happy that had occurred that day into each box...and I would like to follow in her footsteps with this blog.
